RECORD PRODUCER TALES

I told this hit Record producer I needed hot beats and they were due in two days by noon. But I told him i need to hear it before I submit it in case I want you to add something to the beat. He was like "bet."
So I call a day later to see how the progress was going and I couldn't get him on the phone. I called about 6 times during the course of the day and left mesages for a call back. He emailed me and said "don't worry I got you."
Two hours passed the deadline comes and goes. Finally at 6 pm, 6 hours passed the deadline, I get a call from the record producer as if everything is great. He says that he just emailed me the tracks. I called the agency and asked if they would listen to a few more submissions. they were very reluctant but when i told them who the producer was, they changed their mind.
So I hurried and set up my computer to email these tracks. I saidd to myself, "Let me just listen to them just in case this dude sent me some wack tracks. And low and behold, they were real WACK! I thought to myself, "he must have emailed the wrong tracks" cause these hip hop tracks sounded like a beat with training wheels!
I listened back to his hit tracks and realized that all the songs he had that were hits used samples. And since I told him no samples whatsoever, he turned into a wack producer and was exposed for being wack! Yo, if you can only make hits with samples, you may never get a check in the advertising business.
I didn't even bother turning in the tracks to the agency. I'm glad I did my own version.
